Heather and Jason

October 1, 2011, at the Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford

In the famous line from Snoopy, "It was a dark and stormy night...", only on this wedding day, it was dark and rainy all day as well as all night. But, it didn't matter because the bride and groom had astutely planned everything indoors, at the Radisson Hotel. Big rooms, huge mezzanine, dramatic sweeping staircases --- what could be better? We photographed in almost every nook and cranny we could find. The groom is expert in photography and photoshop, but luckily for me, he left his camera home, and counted on me instead. We had great music (with lots of flashing, multicolored lights), and therefore great dancing, jumping, jiving, conga line, and a dance competition led by the DJ. Dinner was delicious -- I had the prime rib -- yum! It was a complete day and night of fun!

Let me start with the wedding poster, made by the groom, titled HEATHER DAY-JASON STOKES, Attack of the Wedding, with photos of the principles photoshopped onto a Star Wars poster. The credits at the bottom mentioned all the supporting players, giving me credits for the photos. I kept a close up of the credits line for myself (this is just my kind of sense of humor).

But, let's start with the bride's side, and the traditional dress, shoes, and putting on of jewelry:
